CHAMARRI CONNER

Chamarri Conner is a talented and versatile defensive back known for his playmaking ability, physicality, and football intelligence. Born on January 6, 1999, Conner played college football at Virginia Tech from 2017 to 2022, where he established himself as one of the top cornerbacks in the ACC. During his time with the Hokies, Conner played a hybrid role, excelling as both a cornerback and safety, which allowed him to showcase his versatility. Known for his ability to cover wide receivers and his willingness to step up in run support, Conner accumulated over 200 tackles and multiple interceptions throughout his college career. He was particularly noted for his leadership and consistency, earning Second-Team All-ACC honors in 2022.

After his successful college career, Conner declared for the 2023 NFL Draft and was selected in the 4th round (137th overall) by the Kansas City Chiefs. He entered the NFL with high expectations, known for his well-rounded skill set and ability to adapt to various defensive schemes. In his rookie season, Conner showed flashes of his potential, earning playing time in the Chiefs' secondary and special teams.
