CHUCK CLARK

Chuck Clark is a seasoned and reliable safety known for his leadership, football IQ, and ability to make crucial plays in both coverage and against the run. Born on December 19, 1994, Clark played college football at Virginia Tech from 2013 to 2016. During his time with the Hokies, Clark was a key player on the defense, contributing as both a safety and a cornerback in certain packages. His consistent play earned him All-ACC honors and helped him develop a reputation as one of the top defensive backs in the conference. Clark finished his college career with over 200 tackles, multiple interceptions, and numerous pass deflections, showcasing his ability to contribute in a variety of ways.

After his college career, Clark declared for the 2017 NFL Draft and was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the 6th round (186th overall). Despite being drafted in the later rounds, Clark quickly established himself as a valuable member of the Ravens' defense. His leadership, intelligence, and strong tackling ability allowed him to earn a starting role at safety. Over his first few seasons with Baltimore, Clark became known for his reliability and ability to excel in both pass coverage and run support. He was often called upon to cover tight ends and wide receivers, as well as to provide strong support in the box against the run.

In 2024, Chuck Clark was traded to the New York Jets, where he continues to play a pivotal role in their secondary. Known for his veteran leadership, versatility, and reliability, Clark remains a valuable asset to the Jets' defense. His experience and playmaking ability continue to be key strengths as he works to help the Jets build a championship-contending defense.
