DIVINE DEABLO

Divine Deablo is a versatile and hard-hitting safety known for his ability to impact the game both in coverage and against the run. Born on August 5, 1998, Deablo played college football at Virginia Tech from 2016 to 2020. Initially a wide receiver before transitioning to defense, Deablo made a significant impact as a safety due to his athleticism, size (6'3", 225 pounds), and physicality. Over the course of his college career, he became one of the Hokies' most reliable defensive players, earning First-Team All-ACC honors in 2020. His ability to cover tight ends, wide receivers, and make tackles in the box helped him stand out as one of the top safety prospects in the country.

After his college career, Deablo declared for the 2021 NFL Draft and was selected in the 3rd round (80th overall) by the Las Vegas Raiders. Known for his athleticism and ability to cover a variety of positions, he was expected to contribute immediately to the Raiders' defense. As a rookie, Deablo quickly earned playing time and showed his potential as a safety who can handle both coverage and physical tackling duties. His performances as a rookie demonstrated his ability to fit into the Raiders’ defensive schemes.

In the 2022 and 2023 seasons, Deablo continued to develop, becoming a key part of the Raiders' secondary. His size and ability to play both safety and linebacker in certain defensive alignments made him a valuable asset in various defensive packages.

As of 2024, Divine Deablo remains with the Las Vegas Raiders, where he continues to provide versatility in their defensive backfield.
