TIM SETTLE JR.
Tim Settle Jr. is a defensive tackle known for his size, quickness, and ability to disrupt opposing offenses. Born on July 11, 1997, Settle played college football at Virginia Tech, where he emerged as a key part of the Hokies' defense. After redshirting his first year in 2015, Settle became a starter in 2017 and had a breakout season. Known for his ability to clog running lanes and generate interior pressure, Settle recorded 12.5 tackles for loss and 4 sacks in 2017, earning Second-Team All-ACC honors. Following his standout season, he declared for the NFL Draft.
Settle was selected in the 5th round (163rd overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Washington Football Team (now Washington Commanders). Despite being a late-round pick, Settle quickly carved out a role as a rotational defensive lineman, contributing to one of the league's most formidable defensive fronts. Over four seasons with Washington, Settle showcased his ability to provide interior depth, accumulating sacks and tackles in limited snaps while earning a reputation for his high motor and versatility.
