YOSH NIJMAN
Yosh Nijman is a skilled and athletic offensive tackle known for his size, strength, and ability to protect the quarterback. Born on May 15, 1997, Nijman played college football at Virginia Tech from 2015 to 2018. Over the course of his career with the Hokies, he became one of the top offensive linemen in the ACC. Initially a raw talent, Nijman honed his skills and developed into a dominant force on the offensive line, thanks to his combination of size (6'7", 314 pounds) and athleticism. He earned All-ACC honors in his senior year and helped protect the quarterback while contributing to Virginia Tech's running game.
After going undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft, Nijman signed with the Green Bay Packers as a free agent. He spent his rookie year on the practice squad but was promoted to the active roster in 2020. Over the next few seasons, Nijman saw significant playing time as both a backup and starting offensive tackle. His standout performance came in the 2021 season when he stepped in as the starting left tackle due to injuries, receiving praise for his ability to protect Aaron Rodgers' blindside and play effectively at a high level.
As of 2024, Yosh Nijman is with the Carolina Panthers, where he continues to serve as a key member of their offensive line. His size, versatility, and experience make him a valuable asset in protecting the quarterback and helping to open up running lanes. Nijman’s continued development and ability to play multiple positions on the offensive line strengthen the Panthers’ offensive front, and he remains an important contributor as the team works to build a strong and balanced offense.
